Hondon Valley TV – Local Events

A local Dutch man called Jan has diligently been recording lots of local festivals and events for years to help the community and promote the area … like this one from the 2013 CorreFocs Firework Fiesta in Hondon de las Nieves.

His excellent work can be seen on YouTube but he now has his own video website “Hondon Home TV”. It is very good indeed and shows many a fiesta and social event for the area and well worth a look.

So well done to Jan and thank you for your excellent community spirit.

Hondón, What’s On?

Hondón Villas help run the Facebook Group “Hondon What’s On” which lets local bar & restaurant owners, charities and groups advertise their menus, events, fiestas and celebrations in the Hondón Valley areas. It’s a good way fro residents and visitors find out what is going on or to ask questions about your interests or hobbies.

3 Years Ago… how time passes!

Business of the Year 20153 Years ago! Wow!  So proud of our success and we are still here and expanding! Thanks everyone that supports, trusts and recommends our services.

We really appreicate it… without it, local businesses in our villages would not thrive. 

As you know since then we have taken on more staff and upscaled our “bricks-n-mortar” offices in Hondón Frailes and Nieves plazas.

Our website hit 1.5 million visitors and 2018 is already proving a record year for sales… But competition is fierce here so we cannot rest on our laurels…

GOOD NEWS – OFFICE #2 NOW OPEN!

We are delighted to announce that Office #2 IS NOW OPEN in Hondón de las Nieves plaza. Yes… We are continuing to invest in the area and expand our reach of the Hondon Valley. We have taken on a year’s lease while we could and we’ll see how it goes. But for now you can visit the office 10-5pm Monday to Friday.

We’d like to thank all our supporters, work partners and wonderful clients for their custom and encouragement. Hondon Villas have seen steady growth since we started a simple website in 2007, …2017 was a record year and 2018 is already smashed our sales targets. Our staff go from strength to strength as we take on a new member, Cherie, who is trained in sales, a great communicator and performs to corporate standards.

A Place In The Sun are back in Hondón

The Brits amongst you may have spotted the glamorous Jasmine Harman in the area filming for the popular Channel 4 series “A Place In The Sun”. Jasmine is one of our favourite presenters on the show. She and the program have been to the area quite a few times before.

So how many of you were seduced to live abroad by watching A Place in the Sun on UK TV? We meet and sell to so many people that love the program .. and watch the repeats !! LOL!

Well it was an absolute delight to meet Jasmine from APITS team … such a pleasant lady and very welcoming. We hope the couple with her make the right decision and that Hondon is the right place for them… Ahhhhh ah… You’ll have to watch the TV program later in the year to find out

WOW! Millions Know about Hondón

Our IT people are telling us that our very own Hondon Villas websites have passed the 1.5 million visitors mark. INCREDIBLE to think we are such a small area and a real estate niche for inland Spain.

Record sale and visitors in 2018

To think that when we arrived in Hondon, Spain 13 years ago, there was no information on the web about the Hondón Valley. (even Google hadn’t found it back then LOL!) Yet the area still retains the same Spanish charm and has changed little really. For sellers this is great news as the local economy thrives on property sales and a new influx of buyers looking for that typically tranquil Spanish country lifestyle.

What’s more… that figure does no include the 10,000’s of visitors to our international portals and marketing partners, like A Place in the Sun, Right Move, Kyero, Prime Location and more. WOW again!

So selling through Hondon Villas gets you plenty of exposure, maybe that’s one of the reasons why we sell more houses in the area than any other local agent!
