A Place in the Sun … in the area again

As featured on TV!

Like many British Expats we came to live in Spain over 12 years ago after being seduced by those dreamy TV property programs showing a more relaxed and sunny lifestyle. Well, it is and can still be like that. These type of TV progs are still popular and thankfully for us, they still work!  Such that “APITS” is a now national gem, a staple of daytime viewing being repeated on UK Tele most days. Long may it promote a new life abroad.

Hondon Villas have been asked quite a few times to help TV property searchers over the years. One of the most recent being to help Jane and Nigel find their fab “Casa Blanca” house in Barbarroja on the “New Life In The Sun” series (Channel 4)… they are loving it!

Jane de Longa : You’re so right we are loving it !!! Nigel and I are so very glad we found the Hondon Valley to live in . . it’s been nearly a year since we first came to the valley and it was love at first sight with the valley and our lovely home!!

Well Maureen reports to the TV producers again this week (May 2018) in the La Romana & Hondon areas… It’s great these TV progs want to film here and more importantly that buyers still wish to move to this fab part of rural Spain.

We’ll let you know how it goes … fingers crossed the potential buyers find something they like to make their dreams come true!
